One of our guests shares her experience…
“I stayed at the Cedar Crest Lodge with a group of 11 women this past weekend and had the most relaxing, rejuvenating, and awesome experience. Matt and Laura, the owners, greeted our group with a warm and inviting welcome, even though our caravan of 3 cars arrived at different times in the evening.
The Lodge was decorated for Christmas and full of cheer. Our meals were prepared for us around our schedule and were delicious. Breakfast included pumpkin spice pancakes, sausage and fruit; lunch was a choice of either a turkey or ham pannini with butternut acorn squash soup and a brownie. Afternoon snack was an assortment of Gingerspice cookies, cranberry biscotti and hot chocolate pudding with mini marshmallows in a crust. All were amazing! Dinner was a choice of steak or chicken topped with the Chef’s special sauce with potatoes and green beans with a pear cheesecake all created by the amazing chef with such care. I am not doing the food justice or describing the food with the terms with which each course was introduced.
The rooms were great, spacious, very comfortable and were accompanied by everything that you would hope for in a luxury hotel! It was spotless! There is a beautiful nature trail on the property that surrounds many ponds. The first pond that I arrived at had 2 Adirondeck chairs for relaxing and enjoying the quiet. This Lodge is more of a home than a bed and breakfast! It was a true experience that allowed me to totally unplug from the business of life and enjoy the moment!” – Kathy M., St. Louis, MO
